No Movie Meet Ups for the Summer, but PLENTY to do!!!
There is SO much great movie stuff going on in the area. Here are some things you should check out! Many of these organizations are independent and/or non-profit so be sure to check out their membership and volunteer pages!

The motion picture medium has played an important and continuing role at the Detroit Institute of Arts since 1928. Now in its 30th year, the DIA’s ongoing program, Detroit Film Theatre, is among the most comprehensive and acclaimed showcases of contemporary and classic world cinema in the United States.
There are many FREE matinees at the DFT this summer with a focus on science fiction due to the fact that the DIA has a Star Wars costume exhibit now through September (which you should DEFINITELY check out)!
